I picked AZ-104 because I wanted to learn how to actually manage Azure resources, like identities, storage, and virtual machines, as well as networking, monitoring, and backup. Also, I wanted to know how to handle daily cloud operations. The exam was really helpful. It felt like a roadmap for doing real admin work, you know, the kind of tasks you'd do every day.
I kept things straightforward with my studying. To get ready for the AZ-104 exam, I went through Microsoft Learn's official study guide and did all the hands-on labs. When I needed a bit more help understanding something, I turned to a Udemy course. But what really made the difference was practicing.
I spent a lot of time working in the Azure portal, using the Azure CLI, and getting familiar with PowerShell. I also watched some YouTube tutorials and tried out AZ-104 exam questions from Pass4Success to make sure I was on the right track. My main focus was on a few key areas: identities and governance, compute, storage, virtual networking, and monitoring.
As the exam neared, I made sure to practice with mock tests, go over every mistake I made, and work on scenario-based az-104 questions for the Microsoft Azure Administrator exam. This helped me get a better feel for the test. I also focused on managing my time well, so I could read each question carefully without feeling rushed.
I learned a few important things from my experience. First, actually doing things is way more helpful than just watching videos. It's also crucial to focus on what is going to be on the exam and spend extra time on the parts that are worth the most points. And when you're taking the test, try to relax, read each question really carefully, and make sure you're using your time wisely.
I want to thank the people who helped me along the way, my mentors, my employer, my family, and the whole learning community. Now that I have got my AZ-104 skills, I am looking forward to using them to create secure and scalable environments on Azure.
