Hello Onetap community,
I've been contemplating whether to make a thread like this for a while. If you've been an onetap member since the csgo days and still check out this forum, I believe you truly... really really love onetap but also feel a sense of disappointment.
Back in the day, when onetap is still in v3, I already know onetap since my friend is using it, I was just watching and I never expected myself to stay on onetap for such a long time, If there was a timer showing how long you've been on the forum, I'd probably be in the top 10. Grass grows, birds fly and sun shines, onetap v4 released, I finally joined the onetap community just to play hvh, it was the biggest public cheat on the csgo hvh community when neverlose is still privated. gamesense, onetap, aimware these are definitely the most well known cheats in 2020. Let's watch a video about a tutorial about hvh in 2020.
I do not remember the exact date that neverlose went public but as you see there are 4 cheats mentioned (I skipped otc and ev0 but technically ev0 is public just you need to pay more) and only onetap and aimware is public. But when neverlose comes in front of the stage, the story just become different. At first, people are buying it because of curious, this method still works until now because what makes people to buy something is always the curiosity (we will talk about that later) but people started to realize, cheats are better and better, that's why they keep purchasing a subscription, users and script coders changed their target to neverlose, let's compare it to other cheats now.
- Gamesense: I don't know much about it since I didn't have Gamesense in 2020, but rumors always claimed it was the best. Even in 2024, it's still highly regarded.
- Neverlose: To be fair, I really appreciate them. They have a big team working on the cheat, similar to a company with different departments. They put in the time and actually care about their product and the community. I would say they deserve what they are now. The profit, popularity and a lot of people are willing to pay 30 eur per month.
- Aimware: It's often a meme, but they were the first to release a rage hack in cs2. And of course, lots of people paid that because they are curious about cs2 first rage hacks and to be honest, it was really good, it got some exploits and a lot of functions (even more than onetap cs2, quite ironic isn't it)
- Fatality: One coder but a legend. The staff are nice, and they still care about the community and the cheat.
- Onetap: Just look at it now.
what I want to say is, the world is moving but onetap isn't.
I know cs2 is the future but it does not mean that csgo isn't a thing anymore, many and many people still hops on csgo community server (not just hvh) so I don't really see the point of "we discontinued onetap for csgo as valve discontinued for csgo".
Even today, if Onetap announced, "Onetap v4 is available for purchase again" with zero update log, people would still buy it, not out of curiosity, but for nostalgia.
Over the years, I've met many people through onetap. Some were random people asking for hwid reset under my profile, some disliked me for saying onetap was the best, and some were famous and well-known. I never expected this when I first joined onetap, but now, there's nothing here anymore.
Some people stay, some leave, and some quit. But those who stay, are they really staying? No, even alpha members don't use the product anymore (well, maybe they will because it got a chams update a few months ago). onetap will always be onetap, it's irreplaceable, but you've failed your community.
Remember when I said people buy out of curiosity? Yes, let's say onetap pushed the alpha version to live build with 99 bugs not fixed. Do people care? No, because they're curious about what it looks like. As for the onetap cs2 "beta test" it's bad, everyone knows, but people are still willing to buy a month just to give it a shot.
Enough typing for now. These are my last words. Now, it's your time to shine, onetap. I hope to see some news before 2025.
If your brain is not braining while reading this, sorry about that since English is really not my first language. ;p
