first of all you meant == not =~ (for lua you use ~= if you want to check "not equal")
and disable is a function in a class most likely and the class object is resolver, therefore it should be resolver.disable(); i am pretty sure
for the love of god please stop adding a new line to "code" just for a bracket, looks much cleaner this way:

if (myString == "llama") {
    //code
}

also if in a parallel universe otv3 disables resolver based on what cheat the enemies are using then i think it would be done through a switch case (i think that works better than having dozens of if else statements)
